Lotsa books and a change in contractors
I got my Bad Squiddo Freya’s Wrath kickstart minis
Norwegian Wild Cats, Mjolkhare, Beer Time, My Heroine, Freya.
I also got the Silent Garden published by Undertow Books.
I painted a couple of wizkids pirate minis… because.
I also finally started work on my terrain inspired by John Carpenter’s Prince of Darkness. Just in time for the TV series announcement. The green is acetate painted and glued together. I’ve since painted the bottle caps but things haven’t been glued.
Mostly it was just taking care of the little guy. We had to buy a crib because he’s outgrown his bassinet. He’s also in the 3-6 month range for clothes.
The House has taken my peace of mind.
Sick cat was sick again. Gigi ate something she shouldn’t have, followed huge pukefest, visit to the vet, syringe feeding of water and meat water (Extra yumm). She’s fine, but has a habit of getting places and eating things she shouldn’t (which were hidden for a reason).
Just a quick post while I’m working on gaming, painting, blog posts for my French vacation and my trip to Congres Boreal… and being frustrated that renovations are further delayed and I’m going to be stuck in the suburbs until the fall. Ending tomorrow (May 15) afternoon (EST) is the Children of the Fields kickstarter by Crooked Dice games. It’s a good old set of folk horror minis based on the Wicker Man.
I just finished (I started this post just after, but it’s now 2 weeks later) a last gasp of gaming, DM’ing 4 sessions of Adventurer’s League D&D, and playing in 3 over the past weekend. My wife spent the time on a writing retreat. I’m getting old enough that no matter how fun a 6 hour session of gaming ending at 3am is, the end result is I’m wrecked. Looks like I’ll be 2 recaps behind.
