Back to regularly scheduled programming soon. Apparently my father in law decided not to complain about poor internet for 2 years. It became unusable recently, cutting out every minute – just enough to load a page, but not a second one. 2 techs came – the last one Friday night at 6pm with 5 minutes notice. The first tech couldn’t figure things out and said it was a problem outside – but did find 2 splitters outside, which he removed. The 2nd ended up drilling a new connection and moving stuff up a floor and advising to disconnect the extender which seems to have solved things.
