Poor Gigi apparently was eating foam mat tiles (the kind used as exercise mats) while we were away. Maybe for longer. Yesterday morning she vomited about 6+ times. I even saw some bits of foam in there. When I brought her to the vet, she got some anti-nausea medicine, but didn’t eat or drink anything after we got home. This morning I brought her back to the vet. X-rays revealed enough an obstruction. She’s having surgery later on Wednesday. I’m going to be a bundle of stress for a few days, so expect my trip and April recaps a little later.

She seems mostly back to her old self, though we have to monitor closely for a bit. Nothing looks obstructed.
